My husband and I are foster parents to two wonderful sisters, 2 1/2 and 1 1/2. Because bio mom has had another baby and we are unable to take the newborn, the county has informed us they have found a home to take the girls that will take all three. They already have taken the newborn. Needless to say, we're heartbroken. The home they are to move to is currently caring for a 2 year old foster child. I've been told by another foster parent that there is a rule preventing 4 foster children under a certain age from going to the same home when they aren't all related. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is true, where could I find information about it?
