:confused: Hello, I am new to this and I was hoping there was someone out there with a little experiece who might be able to answer some of my questions. Me and my husband have been going through this foster/adopt process since march and all has been completed. Our caseworker says we have our license-when I seen her in the store. She does not keep us informed on whats going on or anything. We still have not received our license in the mail yet. How long does that take? what I want to know is can we foster/adopt from other counties in our state other than the one we were licensed in and if so is it our responsibility to contact other counties or the caseworkers? If we find a child we would like to adopt in another state, can we? How do you contact places like safe-havens or other orgs. to possibly adopt an infant. if any one out there could help or give me some advice I would appreciate it. Thanks
