I'll try to make this short as possible.
Last Sunday we had to take our foster child to hospital for an exam. When we got there the case worker had call to people from her church to be there. This child is 17 years old and she ask for no one to be there. Long story short we report it to the head of Department of Human Services. We were told we could not find out the results of what was reported. The child ask and the same was told to her.
Our foster child's attorney said not to talk to anyone including the case worker.
This problem with the child hit the newspapers so it is all over town so we have to guard her at all times.
My question is what the case worker did by having people show up at the hospital is WRONG so what can we do as foster parents to find out the results of the investigation? I cant find a foster parent bill of rights.
