I am looking to foster one child. I currently have 2 children and my husbadn and I want to open our home to a child who can benefit from the love we have to offer.
My question is, why do children go through several foster homes throughout their life? I have heard the phrase "bounced around through foster homes" what makes them move? Do their case workers move them? Is it if the situation isn't suitable? I don't understand that.
Also, the children are typically on medicaid correct? I know there are certain allowances for clothing and such right? My husband has a great job, but we want to make sure that we can afford adding an additional child.
Thanks for the help!
