If your child said he was gay...

A tough question I know.... but how do you think you would react if your child came out to you? I personally can’t speak from experience, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently. I would like to think I would be accepting, but it’s so hard to say how you would react to something until you experience it firsthand. Thoughts?

It wouldn't be an issue with me. I think there is huge generation gap that is divided by a difference in attitude towards sexuality. Especially after reading that true story Prayers for Bobby... I don't think I would ever second guess supporting my children and their sexual preferences. That was a sad story, but I'm glad she eventually had a change of heart.
