Hello I have had two brothers for 18 months in the beg. there parents did nothing to help get there kids back the county claimed this the worst home ever seen in the county and there was a lot of abuse going on in the home the mother ended up dead and investigation started on the father in the mean time the dad raised an issue he had not had a visit with his kids in a couple months the father contacted ombudsman and all of a sudden the visits began and dad was the hero the county gave the father thirteen extra weeks due to there mess up and in theose weeks several things came up but the social worker was not interested in that she claimes her supervisors want the kids to go home now after 18 months with over a year of nothing the county gets slapped by ombudsman and all of a sudden daddy wants to be in his kids life and the county is all for it when prior to ombudsman they were going to place the kids in permanent placement we went to trial and the kids were given back despite the horriable things that have gone on my question is I heard I could have been a de facto parent by an outsider no one from the county told me my rights as afoster parent no one informed me that I could be a de facto parent those boys are now with there father and I am sickened by that since during his time with out kids his wife mysteriously died he was re married with in a few months and lives in a fantasy world what rights do I have now that the boys have been returned do I have any?
