Can a college student be a foster parent?

Hi there. I am new to this forum. I have been doing some research because I am interested in fostering and adopting. I am not the typical college "kid", I'm 28. I'm just curious because I am a full-time student and I don't know if that would hinder be from being eligible?? Thanks for any feedback.

Your age and marital status shouldn't matter. You just need a plan for how you're going to meet the needs of the child you take. I imagine your situation wouldn't be any different than that of a working parent.
