My question is ... last October I took in my niece and nephew in it was an emergency situation and they came to VA from Ca... then in December i took there older brother in.. it has been hard times trying to get things paid and clothes food ect...
I would rather have them with family instead of strangers but every month it is tougher and tougher....
there father ( who was a single father of 6 ) cannot care for them because he is mentaly unable .. now Iam caring for him too
so what are the rules if your take your family in even though the father just got here now ???

Not sure what you are asking. Do you mean should father have contact with kids? Or do you mean any assistance from state? Most states are required to help with clothing and basic needs during placement. Try searching to see if your state has a Foster and Adoption Parent Association. There are some links on the NFAPA web site. Maybe that will help. Most of these type organizations can help you with your rights.
