We both work so cannot be available for two to three family visits a week in a foster care situation. So we would like to adopt a foster child. We have looked into the heart galleries. So far, all the chldren we have inquired about cannot be placed with other children and we have a five year old. Is there anyway to find advocates for us so the counties will be aware of us when a child becomes available. I understand foster parents have the first choice in adopting. But I also know some families have adopted several children and cannot adopt more of their foster children. I know the possibilities are slim, but they are still there is we can just find ways to make our name known.
