To anyone in Ventura County, CA. I would like to know about the process as you experienced getting into foster care. My husband and I have been taking care of 4 granddaughter for 6 years. We had all 5 girls for the first 4 years. The child we dont have has been living with an aunt and her family for the last 2 years. We had such a small home that we could not be considered for the foster care aide. We now are moving into a much larger home and as far as suitable space goes, we will have it.
I just want to know what to expect from the 'system'. The parents have
had all this time to get it together but havent. Please share your experience, good or bad. We are very involved in our community, the school and our church. Thanks
